- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I brought a Ameriprise check here. It says "payable thru Western Union" on the check. The first checker asked me to take a seat while they call and verify. Then the "Service manager" called me to the window. She tried to blackmail me into opening an account by holding this check hostage. She WOULD NOT CASH the check if I did not open an account.
